Combi Boiler Replacement & Relocation including MAIN boiler installation in West Sussex
This installation involved the full replacement and relocation of a combi boiler, along with system upgrades to improve performance and ease of future maintenance.
The Challenge
The original boiler was installed in an inconvenient position with limited servicing access. The homeowner wanted the system relocated to make space for future joinery and storage, while also ensuring the new installation was neat, efficient, and reliable. Alongside the boiler works, a new radiator and towel rail were required.
Our Solution
We removed the existing boiler and installed a Main Eco Compact combi boiler in a more accessible location. The new position allowed for a clean pipe layout that will be easily boxed in during the next stage of the renovation.
This particular model, built by Baxi, is well suited to residential properties. It offers:

To complement the boiler upgrade, we installed:

A new standard radiator and an electric towel rail

An Adey system filter to protect against sludge and debris

A Baxi in-flue weather compensation sensor to modulate boiler flow temperature based on outside conditions
The customer had already installed a Tado smart thermostat, which we wired into the system. Although OpenTherm functionality is no longer supported on the UK version, the boiler now benefits from weather compensation for improved energy savings.
