After getting several quotes from other companies we went with Option after seeing their work at a friend's house. Michael was very patient with our protracted building works and communication was great over this time. Option have now completed a fantastic heat pump installation at our home. The install not only looks great but has been very efficient this winter.

Michael was professional and helpful. I had a tricky situation with a ASHP that had been badly set up, was on continuously, and using hideous amounts of electricity. Michael was able to remedy the situation (which two previous engineers had failed to work out). The electricity usage has now dropped to almost a third.

Michael is a brilliant heating engineer. He assisted me in a challenging commercial heating setup, and was incredibly dedicated to providing the most efficient heat pump design possible. I will definitely be using him again on further projects.

£7,500 Grants Now Available for Heat Pumps:

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is a great opportunity for homeowners and small businesses in the UK to reduce the upfront cost of installing eco-friendly heating systems. This government initiative offers £7,500 grants for air source heat pumps, making it easier to switch to low-carbon options.

To take advantage of the scheme, all you need to do is work with an MCS-certified installer. They’ll apply for the grant on your behalf, so the savings are applied directly to your installation costs. The scheme is open to all homeowners and small to medium sized commercial property owners in England and Wales and has been extended to run until 2028.

This initiative is designed to help you reduce your energy bills and your carbon footprint, making your property more sustainable in the long run.
